Chibi no Gakkō, is a Japanese American Heritage School that provides children the opportunity to explore the Japanese American (JA) experience in a fun, “hands on” way.

Chibi no Gakkō is offered every two years and includes the following activities:

– Exploring personal family and JA history

– Cooking and tasting Japanese food

– Participating in playing games, hearing/singing music and learning dances

– Creating Japanese arts and crafts

The next session will take place on Saturdays from January 20 to February 24, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. It will be held in the same location as the Open House:  The Hub in Sakura Square located at 19th and Larimer Street in downtown Denver.

Tuition is $125 per child and $100 for each additional child in the family. Payment is due at the time of registration. The deadline for online registration is November 1, 2023. Registration and payment information will soon be available here.
