Asian Avenue magazine has devoted their entire expanded May edition to celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander month!  The issue highlights 100 Asians to know in Denver and beyond, as well as 33 AAPI organizations to follow, donate to, or get involved with in Colorado.  We are proud to share that the following leaders have been included in this list:  Sakura Foundation board members DJ Ida, Kenzo Kawanabe, and Derek Okubo; Mirai Generations Leadership Program alumni Allyson Masunaga Goto, Courtney Ozaki, and Akemi Tsutsui-Kunitake; Executive Director Gary Yamashita, and Program Director Stacey Shigaya, as well as Sakura Foundation itself.
