Sakura Foundation hosted members of the 2023 Torchbearer program from Hawaii and Los Angeles on Oct 20 – 22. These energetic, bright young people were introduced to our Japanese American community by Denver-based Torchbearers Allyson Goto, Alyssa Noguchi, Maddie Saito, and Akemi Tsutsui-Kunitake. The Torchbearers program builds identity, leadership, and passion through a cross-country network of next-generation leaders to chart, shepherd, and deliver our community’s future.
